Today is Christmas Eve and Saturday. But I woke up at 5:50am, because what I learned from the past 2 days is that the court is mostly crowded anytime after 7:30am. Yesterday I couldn't practice with my usual routine because there were group of high school kids with a coach running drills and playing full-court games. I just had to shoot mid-range baseline shots for an hour.
This is my routine.
⏰10min: shooting 6ft away from the basket mainly focusing on how the ball rolls off the hand.
⏰10min: half-foot behind the three-point line, focusing on ball not stopping at the set point and ball not crossing the center line when going up. Go for 10 makes in a row.
About a dozen shots (make or miss) half way between 3-point arc & the half-court line (to become comfortable with long distance).
10 makes behind the 3-point arc (center) focusing on the mechanics.
⏰15min: 3-pointers (count how many makes in 15min).
Alternate corner 3's: For the remaining time, and try to make as many in a row.
Today, I wasn't able to make 10 free-throws in a row, and I made 38 3's in 15 min.
